Deli Home Present at Praxis Makers Fair 2024

Building Together for a green future

On Wednesday, January 17, and Thursday, January 18 2024, Deli Home will participate in the Praxis Makers Fair at the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht. This fair provides an opportunity for over 4,000 Praxis employees to directly engage with suppliers and share technical and commercial information on product innovations and new assortments. Deli Home will be represented under the CanDo brand, including the sustainable sub-label CanDo Green.

"Make it Sustainable"
For this edition of the fair, Praxis has chosen a theme central to both Praxis and Deli Home in their business operations. The theme of the fair, "Make it Sustainable," aligns seamlessly with the innovative custom concepts of CanDo and the new introductions under CanDo Green.

Made-to-measure solutions
Sustainability has played a significant role at CanDo for many years, evident in various aspects such as the use of certified wood, the use of solar panels for our electricity supply, and the thoughtful organization of our logistical processes. This commitment extends not only to our business operations but also to the products themselves. At our booth, three large touchscreen TV screens showcase various configurators for custom CanDo doors, screens, wood, stair renovation, and storage furniture. By offering custom production, we not only address the specific needs of customers but also reduce waste in the production process. This is literal sustainable production!

CanDo Green: Building together for a green future
With CanDo Green, we take even greater responsibility for the well-being of humans and animals, the environment, and the economy. This is achieved by imposing stricter requirements on products, packaging, and logistical processes.

Within CanDo Green, the focus is on the introductions of Eco Floor, Decowall Acoustic Advanced Deluxe, and Decowall Acoustic Tile. The Decowall Acoustic Advanced Deluxe range, exclusively available at Praxis, offers luxury decors with a backing made from recycled PET bottles and PEFC-certified wood. CanDo Green Eco Floor is a high-quality and sustainable floor made up of 50% FSC wood fibers and 50% biodegradable resin. This makes the floor 100% waterproof, completely PVC-free, and highly resistant to scratches and dents. The fact that the production processes of Decowall and Eco Floor take place in Europe results in a short supply chain, thereby reducing emissions from transportation. With our tailor-made CanDo solutions and CanDo Green products, we are building together for a sustainable future.

The best of both worlds
In addition to the physical event in Utrecht, all supplier stands can also be visited digitally. Short videos of the stands and products will be recorded during the fair days, making the information available for viewing even after the fair concludes. By digitally offering all brochure material, we not only save on paper and printing but also contribute to an environmentally friendly approach.
