Leading timber components producers and distributors set to join forces

Deli Home, the leading manufacturer and distributor of timber-based home improvement products, strengthens its position in Europe by the intended acquisition of Karl G. Miller Holding GmbH & Co. KG, (KGM) in Germany. KGM is a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality timber components for beautifying and renovating homes. KGM’s customers include specialized wholesalers, players in the door and furniture industries, and leading DIY retailers in Germany. This acquisition allows Deli Home to accelerate its growth in the German market while increasing its product offering for its European customers.

Eugène Sterken, CEO of Deli Home: “We are thrilled to announce our planned acquisition of KGM, an innovative and leading player in the field of wooden skirting boards and profiles in Germany. KGM offers an excellent opportunity to accelerate our European growth and expand our European production capacity. Moreover, we share a strong dedication to using 100% FSC/PEFC-certified wood. I eagerly look forward to intensifying our collaboration with the Miller brothers and warmly welcome our new colleagues on our mission to becoming Europe’s digital carpenter.”

Thomas Miller, managing director of KGM, adds: "For me and my brothers it became very clear in the recent years, that “size matters”, especially since the wood and building industry in Germany and Europe has been facing many economic challenges. Joining forces with Deli Home gives us access to broad industry expertise and to a great European purchasing and sales network, as well as the financial strength to accelerate our growth strategy. Deli Home’s strategic vision aligns closely with our own, providing continuity for our employees and many opportunities to create new products for our customers. We are looking forward to continuing to contribute to the success of KGM as part of the Deli Home family - together with our current and new colleagues!”
